Sixth & First Graders Work Together on Science Project

Sixth graders in Mr. Bonacquisti’s class had to come up with one variable which they thought would impact the flight of a paper airplane. Some students thought about wing size, wing span, wing shape, and plane length. Today that students were testing one of those variables to see the impact of flight distance or time in the air. Mrs. Ouimet’s first-grade class came in to help with plane design, measuring, and data work. They were even allowed to fly the planes themselves!
After the students gather the data, they will work together to create a bar graph, write a conclusion, and create Google Slides to share their information.
