BNL JV Baseball Weekly Recap #1
4/3/2023 – 4/7/2023
The BNL JV Baseball team started their season with a slate of three games in their first week of action. BNL traveled to face off against Tamarac on April 3rd and Stillwater on April 5th. They then hosted their home opener against Stillwater on April 7th.
BNL has so far struggled to shake the off-season rust. Losing practice time to winter weather and having had no time on a field before their first game and only one opportunity during the first week did them no favors. However, despite early issues, BNL ended their first week finally showing signs of life on offense, getting more consistency from their pitchers, while the defense has started to see the adjustments that need to be made to reduce errors.
Coming up for BNL are two games against a tough Mechanicville opponent. BNL is home (12PM @New Lebanon) on Tuesday April 11th and away (12PM @Mechanicville) on Thursday April 13th.
