Softball Coach Recap from the 4/19

The Varsity Girls Softball team faced Tamarac last night and battled during every inning of the game. Tamarac is a strong program, and the girls came out during the 1st inning ready to score – we were successful and brought in the first run of the game. Our pitching staff, made up of Jaylyn Harmon and JJ Bartolotta, only allowed 4 walks during the game, and did their job of drawing hits so the defense could support them by making critical run-stopping plays. Tamarac left 6 runners in scoring position due to the defensive work of the BNL girls. While we finished the game with a loss, this was by far our most aggressive game, which led to our 4 runs scored by the end of the 5th inning. We hope to continue this hard work and aggressiveness with a win against Emma Willard at home on this Friday afternoon. Great work, girls! -Coach Giglio and Coach Slaver
