The BNL Modified Baseball team came up short on Thursday, April 27th against Hoosick Falls. The team was keeping it close at the beginning of the game only down 5 to 6. Hoosick Falls got in a groove and began hitting the ball. However, the BNL defense stayed attentive and aggressive. A great double play was turned by Tyler Webster who caught a line drive at first and threw over to third doubling up a runner.
Jordan Clark pitched a strong first four innings and was relieved by Tyler Webster who took to the mound for the first time for BNL.
Tyler also brought in a few RBIs and showed up strong in the batter’s box.
BNL is making strides with their defense and slowly coming alive on offense making contact and hustling down the line. -Coach Hastings and Coach Hitchcock
