10/26/23– Students in Mrs. Dickson’s classes attended a performance of Fahrenheit 451 at the University at Albany, SUNY. They engaged in a pre-and post-performance discussion with area school districts and members of Literature to Life, ate lunch at Campus Center, and then engaged in a follow-up discussion with a member from UAlbany’s faculty.
10/30/23- Students in Mrs. Dickson’s EN 101 course traveled to Columbia-Greene Community College. They sat through a presentation by the library media specialists for their upcoming research project, took a brief tour of the college and campus resources, received their college I.D., and enjoyed lunch.
