On Saturday, December 2nd, the BNL Boys Varsity Basketball team fought hard in the championship game of the Cambridge High School Basketball Tournament. The BNL Mountain Lions won their first tournament match-up against Rensselaer during their home opener on Wednesday 11/29.
The championship game against tournament hosts, Cambridge, was highly contested with the Mountain Lions taking the tough loss. Chris Shorter paced the team with 20 points, followed by Jesse Francoeur with 10 points and Anthony Ray chipping in with 8 points. The Mountain Lions are on the road today vs. Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School. The game will be played at Montgomery C. Smith Intermediate School in Hudson, NY at 7 pm. – Coach McFall
