BNL Modified Softball Coach Recap 5/14
Congratulations to the BNL Modified Softball team for playing their best game of the season on Tuesday May 14th against Tamarac!
After losing to Tamarac last Saturday 16-4, the girls rallied the entire game but fell just short of a victory with the game ending in a tie, 8-8.
Catcher Arianna Degroff put into motion their first triple play of the season by catching a pop up behind the plate, quickly throwing to shortstop Savannah Hammon covering second base to catch that runner off the base for the second out, and firing it off to Izabella Bink covering first base to catch that runner off the base for the third out. Great heads up ladies! The team also recorded a double play during the game. The offense was led by Abigail Wilson and Ada Hotaling both hitting triples and Treagan Griffith with a double for the day. Abigail contributed 7Ks on the day. Great job ladies! -Coach Corsey and Hudson.
