Weekly testing days will fluctuate throughout each given week. A student can practice and play before being tested, provided that testing will take place that week. For example, if your child is scheduled to practice or play in a game on a Monday, but not being tested until Wednesday, your child can still participate.
The Columbia County Department of Health is highly encouraging all students no matter their vaccination status to participate in weekly COVID testing. The reason for this is, our local health department has seen an increase in people who are vaccinated test positive with COVID. It is our goal to keep our students safe and keep our buildings open for in person learning and extracurricular activities. Week 1 Testing:
Remember testing will take place at the district office – (use side door closest to athletic fields)
Monday, August 23rd – from 12pm to 1pm
Tuesday, August 24th – from 4pm to 5pm
Week 2 Testing:
Please use the main High School Entrance.
Wednesday, September 1st – 2pm to 3pm
Thursday, September 2nd – 3pm to 4pm
Following Week 2 – All athletes will be tested during the regular school day by our school nurse and staff.
