Where are you from?
I am originally from New Paltz, NY. After attending SUNY Albany my husband and I decided to stay in the area and bought a house in Wynantskill.
What is your background like – previous jobs?
When I graduated from college I worked at St. Catherine’s Center for Children as an accountant. In 2017, I accepted a position at Questar III, but continued as a consultant for St. Catherine’s. At Questar III I worked in the financial services department assisting school districts with business office functions which included accounting, state reporting, payroll and accounts payable. I started working for the New Lebanon CSD in March 2021 as the district treasurer, and accountant. In January 2022 I accepted a new position within the district as the business manager and treasurer.
What are your interests outside of school?
I love hiking and being active, my favorite place is in the mountains. I have an Australian Shepard who never gets tired, and loves to run. I also enjoy cooking and trying new food.
Why are you excited to be a part of the New Lebanon Central School District?
I am excited because of the community and the people that work here. Everyone here is working hard to make sure that the students are getting the best education possible, and I am excited to be a part of it.
