BNL Athletics is excited to announce that the registration portal for Fall 2024 BNL Athletics opens on July 29th!
Please sign your athletes up for their appropriate level of competition.
- 7th & 8th Modified
- 9th & 10th Junior Varsity
- 11th & 12th Varsity
If your athlete played at a higher-level last year or completed the Athletic Placement Process (APP) for that sport already, you may sign them up at the higher level. (APP is for evaluating students in grades 7th and 8th who are selected to be considered for JV or Varsity High School athletic competition.) Tryouts for JV and Varsity will take place the first week of practice. PRACTICES START for JV & VARSITY, 8/26. After this, the athlete will be reclassified to the higher-level sport on FamilyID, if applicable.
MODIFIED PRACTICES START 9/5
We are again offering the convenience of online registration to BNL student-athletes through FamilyID (www.familyid.com), which is now part of the ArbiterSports (www.arbitersports.com) family!
Space is limited and registration will end on August 23, 2024, so sign up early. Registrations will not be accepted after 8/23/24, unless approved by the Athletic Directors.
The following are the fall sports being offered for the Fall 2024 season:
Varsity/JV/Modified Girls Volleyball
Varsity/JV/Modified Girls Soccer
Varsity/JV/Modified Boys Soccer
Varsity/Modified Cross Country
Students must be up to date on a physical before they can begin practice. Please note physicals are valid for one year from the date of the exam.
Sports Forms
All students must have an up-to-date physical examination on file in the health office prior to starting practice for each sport season. Physicals are valid for 1 year from the date of examination and to the end of the current sports season. Health examinations from Private Physicians are accepted but must be on the NYSED approved health examination form.
The school physician will provide physicals to those students who do not have the required documentation on file.

Sign-ups begin at the end of July in order to receive the numbers for each level of the program and sport. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to register for our programs and helps us to be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible. When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. You enter your information only once for each family member for multiple uses and multiple programs.

Registering as a new user on FamilyID is simple. Follow these steps:
First, create and activate your FamilyID account.
- If you have not already done so, create a FamilyID account here.
- After you sign up for an account, please check your inbox for an Activation Email from FamilyID. You’ll need to click the link in that email to activate your account.
- Once you have activated your account, you will be ready to register for our program! Please click here to watch a quick video or read a help article on how to register for the first time on FamilyID.
- Click the blue Submit button. After selecting Submit, the registration will be complete. You will receive a completion email from FamilyID confirming your registration.
